UNDERSTANDING THE 9 CLASSES OF DANGEROUS GOODS

Dangerous goods classes are categories used to classify hazardous materials based on their specific properties and risks. These classes and their subclasses provide a standardised system for identifying, handling, storing, transporting, and regulating dangerous goods. Class 1: Explosives

- Division 1.1: Substances and articles with a mass explosion hazard.
- Division 1.2: Substances and articles with a projection hazard.

- Division 1.4: Substances and articles with a minor explosion hazard.
- Division 1.5: Very insensitive substances with a mass explosion hazard.
